Bricks Fundraiser

The PTSO is bringing back our Bricks Fundraising Campaign. This gives families an opportunity to leave their mark on the school grounds and will take place until June 20th. Support SAIL Passport to Possibilities by purchasing a brick celebrating your child(ren). The proceeds from each brick support the PTSO and benefit our students and teachers at SAIL. Join us on the German Exchange Trip where 5th Grade SAIL students study at RecknitzCampus in Laage, Germany with stops in Hamburg, Stralsund, Rostock, Mirow, and Berlin!

SAIL showcased a full day of performing and visual arts with student artwork, dance performances, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Band and Orchestra, plus Jazz Band, Advanced Handbells, and Honors Choir. An applause to our dedicated teachers and PTSO for organizing a magical event showcasing the tremendous student talent. Thank you for supporting the arts!

Our handbells program is a special part of the school which brings music to hundreds of middle school students each year. The current 20+ year-old handbells and chimes are in great need for repair and replacement. Letter from your PTSO President

Dear Members of the School Community,

Greetings! As the newly appointed President of the Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO), it is with great enthusiasm and a touch of butterflies that I extend a warm welcome to each of you.

Firstly, let’s acknowledge the elephant in the room: yes, I did sign up for this! But more importantly, so did our entire PTSO board. We’re a passionate group of unpaid volunteers juggling careers, families, and the occasional stubborn printer. Despite these challenges (and the occasional misplaced coffee cup), we're committed to supporting our school and making a positive impact.

Now, onto serious matters—well, as serious as we can get with a touch of wit! Our mission is simple yet profound: to enhance the educational experience of our students. Whether through fundraising efforts, organizing events, or simply lending an ear over a cup of lukewarm tea at meetings, we're here for it all.

As we embark on this journey together, I encourage you to join us, share your ideas, and get involved. Together, we can accomplish great things for our school community while having a bit of fun along the way.
