Author Visit Grades 3-8 - Natalie Lloyd A Snicker of Magic

We are very excited to announce our second author visit of the year! On Friday, November 1 we will welcome New York Times Bestselling author Natalie Lloyd to S.A.I.L.! Ms. Lloyd is most well-known for her books Hummingbird and A Snicker of Magic. A Snicker of Magic is a well-loved novel that has been selected multiple times for the NC Battle of the Books competition. All of Ms. Lloyd's books are engaging for independent readers, especially those who enjoy a good fantasy. Her characters have a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.

Ms. Lloyd will be presenting to grades 3-8, with a book signing time to follow. The book signing is open to all students and staff regardless of grade level. We are unable to provide a pre-order link for Ms. Lloyd's books. If you would like her to sign a book for your child, please purchase one at any retailer and have them bring the book to school on November 1. You may communicate with your child's teacher to ensure they are sent to the book signing when the call for book signings is made.
