Singapore
The Singapore Cultural Experience, which temporarily replaces our Chinese language exchange in Beijing, China, focuses on the theme of "coexisting". Students learn about how Singapore's diverse cultures, religions, and languages coexist, each with a unique voice and place in society. They explore the Indian Heritage Center, visit the Sultan Mosque, and experience the Night Safari to learn about the island's wildlife. Additionally, they gain insights into Singapore's resource management at the NEWater facility before enjoying a traditional Chinese lunch. The students attend Chinese Immersion classes at the Canadian International School for two days and explore more cultural sights after school.
