Lunar New Year Celebrations at SAIL 2025

Chinese Culture Night kicked off the festivities with fun activities like Panda Greeting Cards, Chinese Calligraphy, and Kung Fu practice—plus, delicious food from Yama Asian Fusion and Wang & King Asian Cafe! The night wrapped up with amazing performances from our talented Chinese immersion students, the Chinese Voice and Dance after-school clubs, and a special solo from Zhang K. Laoshi.

 

Throughout the school day, everyone joined in the Lunar New Year celebrations, from the lively Lunar New Year parade to fun classroom activities like mastering chopstick skills, paper-cutting "春" (Spring), and enjoying a delicious Chinese lunch. It was a day full of cultural learning and celebration as we rang in the Year of the Snake!
